View Full Version : Lower back

I feel so ___
04-11-2006, 10:52 PM
I went to the doctors this past July for my hip and lower back - near my tailbone. I had fallen reccently, and the doctor said it was bruised tissue. The pain continued till about Oct, Nov, and then now it started up again reccently in march.

It doesn't hurt enough to feel like I need to go back to the doctors, but my tailbone is cracking a lot, and my hips sometimes feel like they're grinding when I walk.

I dance ballet, so this might affect it. Also, do certain shoes do things to your back? I wore a pair of old shoes for 3 days because my regular ones were soaked, and they seemed to push my feet outwards and make my back hurt.

So can different shoes hurt your back?
Ballet is over soon, but I go to extra practice, so should I take it easy?

Hi.. Even though it doesnt hurt much, you should still go see an orthopedic doctor. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... Perhaps, you can also see a chiropractor just to get his opinion... Do both... It is worth the inconvenience as it is your body... Also, you may want to take Glucosamine and Condroitin with MSN which is a great supplement for joints. You can get it at any health store or pharmacy.... Perhaps, you may have injured a hip joint slightly and Glucosamine helps the recovery..
