I'm still here, just been very tired from lack of sleep. I saw the surgeon for my first follow up visit and he thinks I am healing nicely aqnd he removed the rest of the suiture tags on my back that were itching like crazy. I've had a hard time getting any quality sleep because of the pain and he doesn't want me to use any more strong painkillers long term because of the addictive qualities so I am just taking Tylenol and he wanted me to use the rest of the Lortabs but only at night but they wire me up like a caffiene buzz instead of helping me sleep so I quit taking them. My follow up CT Scan has been postponed for at least several months because they realized I've already been exposed to more xrays than is safe with 2 scans already in a month and more than a dozen chest xrays. He still thinks they got it all but says there is a chance there could be more because there was not enough airway tissue to trim away from the tumor and they wouldnt have been able to save my lung if he had resected the amount he would have really liked to have. Now the real fun part is coming up, all the bills from all the various docs, labs, OR etc are already coming in...They don't waste any time..
