Much better pain-wise today. Still hurts an awful lot, but I definitely can feel a difference. I am now going about 6 hours between doses of pain meds.

I looked in my mouth, and sure enough, the scabs were gone off the top, above the tonsils and kind of where the tonsils were, but right below the tonsils are still thick with scabbing, so I am expecting some more pain when that comes off. I am getting just a tiny bit of referred ear pain, but it's manageable so far.

I ate pea soup today, and some tiramisu for dessert, and both were yummy!
