hi,ive been diagnosed as having neutropenia for just over a year now.ive had so many blood tests but still no answer to why i have it.ive read on the net that there is a possible link between neutropenia and acute myloid leukemia.has anyone else found any info on this as im obviously concerned.id love to hear from anyone else who has this too.

After one has a confirmed diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Lukemia, they usually live about four months without aggressive treatment. Neutropenia however can be caused by simpler things such as aging process, allergies, and autoimmune disorders. Check with your doctor regarding your concerns.
