hello, the doctors found a hole in my heart the size of a half dollar four months ago and put an amplatzer device in to stop the flow from the left to the right atrium...I am on toproyol/plavix/aspirin and they keep telling me I should be as good as new but I get really tired now and I can still feel the implant...which, by itself, is fine.....I had sharp stabbing pains 3 weeks afterwards and 2 months ago after I had a lot of soreness in my heart (and pain in my left arm that woke me at night)after a massage...does anyone know or have experience with this...being an adult that has atrial septum defect? Any symptoms out there that the docs do not normally cover? I still have a racing heart from time to time when I am not exerting! They have yet to give me a stress test...which I have asked for ....any thoughts? thanks :
