hi all  well heres my story.im 22 yrs old i dont think im in a good health, well ive been suferring with headaches and sinus since i was 4 yrs old. when i reached at my 20s it my big headaches went away, but since i moved to a diferent climate my headaches returned. Now its not just the headaches, on the top of my head i get burning sentations it stings and it also feels numb. Now i wrotte down in a jurnal when i get those tingiling in my head and i usualy get them on my menstrual times but it lasts for like 2 weeks or so , i also get them other times too.The tingiling is on my right side of my head,i also have pain in my right ear, i get ringing but its usualy when im having panic attacks it happents. My shoulders also hurt and my neck too i get tension as well.I have memory loss too,and a lot of fogging in my brain where i feel weird. But this could be all related to my anxiety attacks.I am so paranoid about having some kind of neuroligal problem.I went to my doc and i told him about the tingiling and he asked me if it hurts rite now? and i said no!and then he has the nerves to tell me when i get the tingiling then to come to him! how dare him!I am always fatigue always feel sick like i have cancer or something. And i cant go to another better doc bc wher i live they r sooooo expensive and theres no goverement help in this state wich it sucks.I did make an apointment to a clinic in 1 month from now but those clincs they dont care they r so bad....and they never listen to you?I just dont know what to do?Should i tell them i am demanding tests to be done imideatly? And you better help me? lol do i sound phychotic?

Hi Jenny,
If you are having these headaches on a consistant basis, your doc should send you for either a Cat Scan or an MRI. I have a history of headaches my whole life. Sinus was thought to be the case most times. About 9 years ago, I had very bad headaches. The doctor got very tired of me complaining about them, and sent me for a Cat Scan. Later they called and said I needed an MRI. They had found a cyst. Three years later, bad headaches continued. I woke up one morning at 4:00 with the "mother of all headaches". Went into my bathroom, turned on the light and could not see from my left eye. I had another MRI and was told immediately to go the the ICU to await my neurosurgeon re arranging his schedule to perform emergency surgery. I had a colloid cyst of the third ventricle removed Nov 2000.

Please check this out. I am not saying you have anything like this, but a scan of some sort would help put your mind at ease. Headaches are nothing to mess with.

Best wishes, Dodi

hello - you sound so much like me; there are so many things going on and I want to know if they are connected to one another or if they are individual problems and WHICH doctor do I see?

well, I can say that your symptoms do sound like anxiety. You do not need to be having a panic attack to have the symptoms; my daughter and son both have a chronic anxiety problem (all of my family has anxiety problems, so I think it is inherited). I have suffered from migraines for 30 years, but twenty of them were chronic - suffered all the time and vomitted with tunnel vision - the whole nine yards. I was "vertigo" a lot and didn't know that it was related to anxiety - but I had my first panic attack and then looked into it all. that tingling can come with migraines, too. BUT, I met a woman who had all the migraine symptoms with NO migraine PAIN. imagine! but the tingling and numbness can be part of a migraine and/or panic disorder. sometimes, I can't tell what is going on with me - am I having a heart attack or is it panic? So, the only thing I can do to "test" it is to take my ativan pill - if it helps, then it was anxiety; if it does NOT help, then I think it must be something else.
Look into that area, perhaps. Depression can be a problem that has some of the symptoms you mention. they all seem to be connected in MY life...perhaps in yours?
I hope you find out what is going on because I know how scary this can be. I agree with you about some clilnics don't seem to care; but there ARE some docs out there who are working in clinics because they DO care; I find that if I get a PA instead of a doctor, I get better care because PA _(physician assistant) don't "know" as much a docs do, so they try harder. They don't have the "uppity" attitude of a doc. Not all docs are snobbish, but I understand where you come from....I hope you find the right doc or PA and that you get your diagnosis. knowing...just KNOWING is a big, big help.
