Feeling much better these past two days. I think I've finally turned the corner pain-wise.
Still have some scabbing in there, though.

I have been able to eat more and more, which is nice, but not very satisfying, since I can't taste much (my tongue really went through the ringer during surgery!).

I am down to taking the pain meds 2x day, once in the morning, and once at night.

I have lost 11 pounds, which I am actually thrilled with!

Yay!

I'm on day,...9? I've been off pain meds for 2 days.

I didn't vomit today either. Hooray!

I beleive I was gagging on my uvula as well! Hooray! It's still pretty swollen

I actually got the first look into my mouth today (I still can't open my jaw to wide). Ewwww.. So white and gross...

My uvula looks like a punchin' bag.

Has yours died down? I think mine has a tad.

Tomorrow is another day, I guess.
