Hello,

I've been taking Ativan for a few years now for anxiety as I cannot tolerate anti depressant. Lately a freind of mine told me her doctor switched her from Ativan to Rivotril, because Ativan was making her tired and that the effect of Rivotril lasted longer.

Has anyone had experience with those meds, thanks for answering

Rivotril (clonazapam) has a longer half-life than Ativan or Xanax. Valium has the longest half-life of all the benzos, from what I have read.

Your advice has been helpfull, I'll see my doctor and ask him to swith my meds with either of these.
