The EKG software does the calculations and identifies the area of concern. If you have a copy of the printout, more information should be printed out. There usually are 12 leads and each electrode produces different results.
My printout shows the axes of "P" was normal at 39. The axes of QRS is normal from -30 to 90. Mine was -24 and "T" was 111. The EKG was taken 2 years ago while in ER for CHF.
