My body is starting to go numb all over, I feel realy weak. Anybody else felt this before, Someone please assure me I'm ok :(

Well I have felt numb limbs before and recently it was the left side of my face off and on for days at a time.I have certainly felt weak before.My guess is anxiety can cause this just like it can cause so many many other things but let your doctor know see what they say

i think so too, I have been stressing alot lately, about my health, school, money, social life. I am going to the university counseling office today, to seek help, maybe that will help. I have reassured myself that it is just stress, and I am going to take care of it. thanks for responding, and I hope u feell better as well.

hey the counselor is a great idea good luck there if those symptoms start to fade off you know its anxiety

Good luck cardinal...keep us posted. Numbness and even paralysis can be caused by anxiety, but it's really good to get these things checked out. Sometimes, just having the doctor tell you that you are physically healthy can help lower your anxiety.

Update: I didn't get to go to my counselour on the day I said I would, I was having a major anxeity attack in the doctors office, about 2 hours long off and on. But the next day I did, I think it's gonna help me alot. not only my anxiety but, we discussed other things too, such as my school work, family, relationships, and such. I can finally let go of all the weight on my back.

I was in the ER today after my session though, my neck was killing me, it felt like someone was pulling me in two directions(nearly passed out). Got the X-ray done, everything came out super good, so I'm happy. Heart is good, spine and neck is good, brain is good. Now my body is twitching(mostly in my stomach area) but i can live with that, for now. i've been to the hospital four days in a row. That's a record, for me, because before 1 month ago, i had never even stepped in an ER before.
