The Nurse called just now and wanted to talk to my husband about the drugs he cannot take tomorrow. he was at work but I had the list and would tell him. She asked me if he had taken the theo 24 which he needs to breath. I told her yes and she said that he cannot take that for 72 hrs prior to the chemical EKG tset. We got the does and donts from them and nothing was said about that only that they would call the day before the test and tell us what drugs he could not take. he cannot go 72 hours with out taking that drug. he would have a full blown asthma attack.I say forget that test and just do a ECG. Without the top right lobe that was removed due to LC last july and his asthma he neds all the normal meds. For one day maybe he could do with out. He is so worried that the Chemo damaged his heart that I even feel that a reg stress test might be tried. His EKG prior to the surgery was fine as well as the EKG right after.Any thoughts.
Forgot to add she is going to ask the Doctor.
My husband just called and said that they are going to do a different chemical test. I forget the name but it increases your heart rate this one is scary. The other one was to open and close his blood vessels. I will be going with him because this one seems more dangerious. Is it?
