Hey girls!
For the past couple of days I have had yeast infection-type symptoms - mild itching and burning, some whitish discharge without much smell, and a burning when urinating.
Today, however, it intensified for a brief period and I spazzed  , itching, and now my vulva is swollen, very irritated, and in so much more pain as far as itching and burning goes.
Do you think this is a result of my stupidity (itching so ferociously) and I should continue with the creams/suppositories or should I visit a doctor?
I have had two yeasts infections before, but I always get just a touch worried...
Any help ladies?

It doesn't hurt to call or see a doctor... Especially if you have insurance. Bacterial infections can mimic the same symptoms as a yeast infection. But yeast infection meds don't treat a bacterial infection. So if you have been using the creams, etc... and are not experiencing any relief or it is getting worse (which it sounds like it did!) I would see a doctor just to be sure of what it is.

All I've used so far is a cream that's meant to treat external itching ( I didn't have time to run to the store, so I just used some I had at home, going to store now)..
The swelling/itching/burning has also decreased once again...
Urg. :/

And after doing a little further research - i think it's just an extra sign of vulvitis (as far as the swelling goes, which is the thing that most worried me) And I'm making an Appointment for 3 days from now (by which point I will know if the over-the-counter meds are working).. If anyone else has advice, pleaseplease dont hesitate.
Thank you
