View Full Version : Anxiety?

Hi all! :wave:

Could these symptoms be caused by anxiety?

I often experience difficulty breathing, heart palpitations, sweaty palms, fatigue, shaking, and recurring nightmares.

These symptoms occur at various times but often worsen in social situations. Could it be a case of social anxiety, or am I just overreacting?

I've always had minor stress but never has it caused me to feel this way -- any help would be appreciated.

BTW, I am only 1* years old and am in good health otherwise. :)

{As stated on my first edit if you are under the age of 17 DO NOT post your age. Also if a post is edited by a Moderator DO NOT go back and change the edits made, they were made for a reason!}

Hi emily...there is a "sticky" at the top of this healthboard with a list of common panic disorder and anxiety symptoms. I think all the symptoms you have are on there. Usually everyone has anxiety to some extent in their lives that might only be bothersome for a short time, but if your symptoms continue to cause you problems, you could talk to your doctor about getting some help. You could also read books about panic and anxiety to get more information and maybe some ideas for helping yourself to relax.
