Hello

I am a soon to be 44y/o male with cerebral palsy, diagnosed at 18 months. I am on SS disability, have been on it less than 2 years. I have been thinking of going to school for computers or health care or something else. I would like to know what other peoples opinions are about working or staying on disability.

thank you, Ken

You can work and be on disability. They just set limits on how much you can make before they touch your disability check.
Hey if you can work and make a decent living that really only helps you later in life when you can retire.
check out the information regarding the work program with SS it may help you make your decision.
