i'm abit confused..
on the labels of many multivitamin tablets, and cod liver oil capsules, where it lists the different vitamins and what percentage of your RDA they make up, many of the vitamins are given in a dose that is 100% of your RDA. so does that mean that if i eat something that day that contains these vitamins i would be overdosing? if so is that harmful?
any advice appreciated :)

Don't worry too much about RDA's. They're meant as a minimum amount to remain healthy. I believe iron is the one that you can intake the least above RDA and you wouldn't experience any symptoms of that unless you were intaking 250% or more of the RDA for it. Many vitamins such as C, B'S, D, etc can actually be taken in doses several times the RDA. Some vitamin B12 pills for example contain 1000% or more of the B12 RDA yet it won't make you sick whatsoever. I would recommend you watch the iron intake and don't worry much about the others - a little extra won't hurt.
