Hello, all: When I logged on to HealthBoard, I saw a short article on a fungus found by scientists at Merck which mimics insulin in animals, and that human trials are to start soon. How in the world does a diabetic get lined up to join one of these clinical trials? I've also heard of some testing in Canada with a "recombinant DNA" virus that is supposed to produce insulin (or promote it's production) in the body? Any ideas? Thanks for your help, and hang in there. The scientists are getting close!!!!

Tom
