hey, i read a post on here a while ago saying that streetfighters such as bruce lee were toned and ripped because they had dense muscle due to muscle endurance. i was thinking that if i trained say one half of the week the muscle groups with muscle mass sets (high weight low rep) and then the other half with muscle endurance sets (low weight high rep) then would it make the muscle more defined, more endurance and ripped yet bigger and stronger (such as people like jean claude van damme). Im basicly wanting to look cut such as a street fighter style, yet i want to be pretty big to and also be strong.

I dunno if I would try to do both at the same time. If you are looking for the lean, cut look I would bulk in shorter cycles. Put on mass, cut fat. Put on more mass, cut fat. Put on more mass, cut fat. Then, when you have the mass you want, go on an endurance lifting program with a "concern" for muscle retention. In other words, don't drop your cloric intake too low in the endurace program or you may sacrifice some muscle.

Did you know that Bruce Lee went on a bulk one time and didn't like the way he was growing?

He was getting bulkier, and he wanted the "lean and powerfull" look.
