Has anyone ordered from Source Naturals? I came across them and their prices are about half of what I would pay in the stores around here. I'm new to using vitamins and supplements and I don't know how to get good quality supplements at a good price. Anything I should watch out for by ordering online?

Source Naturals is the name of the vitamin company and I see that Vitacost sells their product as well. Source Naturals also has their own website. I'm wondering how someone chooses a vitamin brand? Do most people compare cost and go with the brand that is cheapest? Are there companies you have to watch out for because of poor quality?

Puritan's Pride is very cheap, they sell the same products as those Vitamin World stores you see in malls and other places, they are the same company, just the way cheaper mail-order branch of the company, they are really inexpensive and usually have sales such as buy one get two free, also Swan.son Vitamins is a good wholesale retailer if you are looking for more exotic herbs and supplements.

Write_On, is Puritan's Pride the same company as Nature's bounty.
I think in Vitamin World, Nature's bounty and Sundown make alot of the vitamin's there.

WOW,they own all those companies???That's a huge manufacturer,so basically, the vitamins from GNC are the same as the ones from Puritan's pride huh,now I'm never going to buy simple stuff from GNC again.

It may not mean that they're the same. Daimler owns Chrysler, for example, but a Mercedes Benz is certainly not the same as a Jeep.

Very good point! As a matter of fact, I believe that Puritan's Pride does have its own manufacturing facility.

plymouth, someone else was telling me this.
That Nature's Bounty owns all these companies.
I think Nature's Bounty is the biggest vitamin company in the world.

Arizona, you bring up a good point.
Does Nature's Bounty just own the companie's or are they also making the vitamins for them.
I can tell you 100 percent, Nature's Bounty is making the Vitamin's for Vitamin World.
But Solgar is a different story.
All there vitamins look and smell differently then Nature's Bounty vitamins.
I'v bought a few vitamins from Solgar.
