i think its time we had a thread where people can post what they've achieved in their goals to become fitter, so that we can all recognise the positive things we've achieved, rather than writing about the problems we're having. its important to recognise our achievements, however big or small, i think sometimes we can lose sight of that.

i shall start!
today i ran my first 10K race, and did it in 1hour and 12 minutes. a year ago i wouldn't have thought that was physically possible. so i'm very proud!

Last year at this time I was pushing 250lbs. Now I'm down to a lean 220. :)

Well I'm an 18 year old male, and I am weightlifting to gain muscle mass. I started lifting about 25 weeks ago. I was 6'0" 158 Ilbs bench pressing like 95 Ilbs. when I started 25 weeks later, I am now 6'0" 178 Ilbs. and I'm bench pressing 170 Ilbs. So I'm making good progress my dieting is good also. I plan on being 6'0" 200Lbs.

When I started out a couple weeks ago, I was 6'0" and 135. I am now just over 7'0" and mildly flame retardent. Actually, I have gained about 7lbs with minimal loss in definition and my chest, arms, back, and legs are noticeably larger. It's only been a month but I'm on my way!

Just over a year and a half ago, I used to weigh in excess of 200 lbs, much of it fat. I was very out of shape, with low energy, enthusiasm, etc. Since going to the gym on a regular basis and being more careful about what I eat, I am now down to about 167, almost 40 lbs gone! Almost no fat visible in the face, arms and legs more nicely toned. Not only do I feel and look great, but I have started to attract some beautiful women to my side for the first time in quite a while, lol!
