I am 28 and just diagnosed with type 1. I started to check my levels this week and they have been between 80-332.... I don't feel any different, and I have meetings w/ docs next week... should I be worried? And can anyone tell me how much it is going to cost me if i can't get coverage? how much is insuline H and N? test strips? I have a monitor... ooh and needles.... thank you so much.. It is all pretty scary for me ..
but if I can be better informed.. I think it will help

Hi JWall- by now you should know about how much it will cost... It's very expensive. However, if you have been diagnosed as type 1, insulin dependant, then you may be able to get on Medicaid. I think it's worth checking out.... Kay
