Hello,
We are at our wits end trying to find out what is wrong with my husband. He is 40yrs old and extremely fit and healthy. In December last year he suddenly collapsed had very low blood pressure, was taken to hospital with suspected heart attack but they decided it was a virus as his white blood cell count was through the roof. Since then he has had bad pain in his stomach, constant nausea, dizzy fuzzy feeling in his head where he can't concentrate. He has also collapsed again 3 weeks ago but not as seriously this time (didn't need to go to the hospital) It is seriously starting to affect his job now. He has had a endoscopy done twice and a colonoscopy both came back with nothing. He has had scans done on all his organs, extensive blood work - again nothing. He has been tested for chronans diseas, cealiacs disease, diabeties - nothing. He is having allergy tests on the 5th of May. We are getting very worried and stressed and wonder why the doctors can't find anything to explain what is going on - something must be causing these symptoms. The only thing they could find was a tiny kidney stone, but the pain isn't where it should be with a kidney stone and the doctors really don't think it is that that is causing all these problem as he has no other symptoms of that - no blood in his urine etc. If anyone could shed some light on what could be causing this is would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Traci.

hi Trac
I am 30 years young ;) and i have had more or less the same probs as your husband.
I collapsed several occassions was taken to hospital , my white blood cell count was extremely high, which was also accompanied by severe stomach pain and they just kept putting me on antibiotics, i have long term low blood pressure problems. Which started when i had the collapsing phases. I have found out that my blood pressure is low due to the lack of blood flow going through my small intestine.
The dizzyness and headaches will be caused by his low blood pressure. Apparently it is healthy to have low blood pressure, less risk of heart disease or heart attack. But at times it doesnt feel healthy
After alot of tests i have just been diagnosed with crohn's. which they missed on several occassions!!!
MAybe it could be worth insisting they carry on testing and ruling things out until you are both happy with the diagnosis
