Hi Everone,
I need some advice! My daughter is 5 and has complex partial seizures. She was diagnosed two years ago. She has had about 16 since then with an average of about 5 weeks apart. Hers always have happenned first thing when she wakes up in the morning. She is on Trileptal 12.5 mls per day. So my question is...She is suppossed to get her shots soon in order to start kindergarten. She will get the DTaP, IPV and MMR. I have been reading that some people don't give their child these because they might aggravate the seizures. I just don't know what to do. Has anyone had any experience with this or know anything? I don't want to give them to her if they are going to aggravate the seizures but I don't want her not to have them and then have her get sick. Her neurologist said it is f  ine and to just give her Tylenol before hand so she dosn't get a fever. But I am not thinking fever, I am thinking if this will bother the epilepsy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Kim
