I am 32 I think I have pcos for the last couple of months my periods have been messed up. Two months without then I have one this months period is late it was due on the 19th. I am overweight and have started seeing a nutritiosist and am on a plan to help me lose weight. The hardest part for me is the hair growth on my face and chest not like a rug of it but enough to bother me. I pluck them but they are a pain to keep up with. is there something they can give me to stop this? I am going to a gyno on Tuesday and will be talking to her about it.

Hello,
The only permanent thing for the hair is electrolsis. I have had PCOS for many years and I have grown to except my hair. I cannot afford electrolsis and creams do not remove my hair. I have had to result to daily shaving. If your doctor does an ultrasound and it comes back okay. Make sure you get an internal ultrasound, because not everyone can be detected on the outside. good luck.
