I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me out.

1.) Is it possible to receive a diagnosis of DDNOS based solely on Identity Confusion and Identity Alteration, with no symptoms of Amnesia, Depersonalisation or Derealisation?

2.) Is it possible to receive a diagnosis of DDNOS along with a diagnosis of Schizoaffective Disorder, or does it need to be one or the other?

Identity alteration and confusion is still qualified as dissociation. And if you have those symptoms chronic and unrelated to other disorders, it most likely can be classified as DD NOS; if it can't be classified under anything specific (i.e DID or Depersonalization Disorder).

Psychosis and Dissociation are two very different things, although one can be in result of the other at times. However, you can still hold the diagnosis of Schizoaffective DO and DD NOS if dissociation is not in result of Schiz symptoms (i.e if you don't get dissociation only during psychosis).

SGH
