i am usually very fair and with the jergens natural glow i bought i want to get a little darker. Now which makeup do u usually buy if you use powder/foundation to blend in with the tan like i am worried i will buy too dark of a powder foundation on my face and it wont blend with the glow of the self tanner. Just wondering what you all do? Thanks!

I don't know that answer, but would love to see the answer as well. I purchased the lotion, but have not yet used it. What do you think about it? Does it make your face oily?
Thanks!

Don't use the body lotion on your face. Buy the separate one specifically for the face otherwise you will break out badly (that was my horrible experience with it). You probably already know that thought.
As far as oil goes though, it didn't really make my skin more oily at all... in fact I think it tends to dry my skin a little bit... which I don't find problematic at all since it doesn't cause severe dryness or anything.

Any of the cream foundations in a compact work good to blend your tan in really well. If I do my tanner too fast and sloppy, my Covergirl Aquasmooth makes it look flawless. I think these formulas work better than a liquid one.
I have something really weird that started happening... I have been using Loreal Sublime Bronze gel on my face only (and neutrogena micromist on my body) and it always worked great, and lately I don't get much results! It almost looks the same. I put it on before bed and tried putting on a thicker coat, and still the same thing! Can your face get used to a self tanner and start darkening from it?

Jergens smells repulsive. I was so self-conscious when I was using it because I could smell it everywhere I went. Olay quench works just as well and smells the same, but definitely not as strong. Don't use the Dove energy glow. It made me break out all over and it comes out orange. The L'Oreal sublime glow stuff smells different than the others and didn't do much to give me a tan.... definitely not worth it. Olay is the best, and easiest to match.
