About a month ago I posted my diet/exercise plan. I joined a gym and get all psyched up to change my life. Then I went to work (installing boilers) a boiler dropped on me and I caught it. I now have a pinched nerve in my neck and a slipped buldging disk in my shoulder. A small price to pay to save my own butt :p
Obviously I am able to still stick to my diet. However my question is, how do I get in good exercise to gain muscle and burn fat if I cannot lift weights for a while. Can anyone post some non-weight lifting exercises that will help me at least burn fat? I can't even do push ups :o

Dreco,
Be careful not to cause further injury. I'm new here, and will look for your older post. I don't know what kind of equipment you have access to. If you can, cycling would be the safest, almost no impact. Running could be risky. Walking can burn if you can get going quickly enough to get your heartrate up, and the impact doesn't jar your injuries.
If your lumbar spine is not injured, (it sounds like cervical and possibly thoracic), you can do weights with your legs.
I myself am looking for exercises I can do seated, recovering from ankle surgery, so I can certainly sympathise with the frustrations... Keep going, and I will look forward to seeing more from you. Kim
