I would never have gotten through my dental work without Xanex!!!
I've heard of many cases where a dentist will prescribe valium for dental anxiety, so I don't see why xanex would be any different. From my own experience.....it's fine to take.

When I was at the perio last month, I saw one of the assistants give a woman some atavan because she was very nervous. Last time I had gum surgery, I took 1/2 a xanax - very mild and it didn't help all that much.

I always take Xanax, before the dentist....it makes a huge difference! When your calm, the time seems to go by quicker. But never quite quick enough!

should be OK- but they might give you a bunch of better drugs than that- and you could be TOO relaxed-definintly tell your dentist what you are on..So he doesn't give you too much of anything else..
But otherwise, you should be fine... do you have someone to drive you??
I know that stuff is pretty strong if you're not used to it..Are you??
