I have pain on the inside of my foot on the side of my heel. There is just one spot the size of a dime that is painful. Afraid to go to foot doctor because of cortisone shots.

Go the the Dr if you are in pain. I have PF and I also get corisone shots, they are not that bad and they help me alot. I have heard the stories about how bad they are and how much they can actually hurt you but its my choice and I have had good results
There are other treatments but you need to see a Dr if you are in that much pain. Good luck!

Plantar fascitis is an inflammation of a tendon that runs from your heel to the middle of the sole. This tendon is very thick and can get inflamed.Sometimes there are tears and scarring under it.If it hurts a lot,you can take advil or motrin. You should also fill a bottle with water and put it in the freezer. Then when the water is frozen, roll it under your foot for 15 minutes or so.This should help.If the pain persists, see a doctor(hopefully a podiatrist!)

This is on the side of my heel so I'm wondering if it is pf or something else.
