Is there anyone out there who has ganglion cysts in the palm of their hand just below the fingers? Are you doing anything to remedy the problem or just living with it?

Hello! I have one on my wriste. I had it for years and I never got rid of it because it didn't cause me any problems. My doctor said he could get rid of it but I didn't feel the need for it.

I had one on my wrist joint as a result of a sport injury. The doctor surgically removed it as he said he would not go away on its own, and only get bigger.

Mine was a build up of fluid around the joint in my wrist, and was painful. I don't know of any other way to treat it. My doctor said that that is what a ganglion is, a build up of fluid around a joint. Maybe, they could drain it with a needle??

I think I have one on the first joint of my finger. I noticed it last year but that's not to say it hasn't been there longer. I was scared at first (cancer) but it doesn't change shape or anything. I type a lot for work / school so maybe that's why?

I think I might have one below my knee cap. It is somewhat hard, white, doesn't change shape or grow, and doesn't hurt. A little smaller than a grape.

Can anyone relate?
