View Full Version : Funny taste

Has anyone had an experience with a bitter or metallic taste or sensation? I am wondering if this can be associated with allergies or possibly from a dental issue. I have had this periodically over the years and this time it is maddening. I have had more major fatigue than any typical nasal symptoms besides pressure and a slight headache. But the old sinuses are letting me know they're not happy. Quite a few years ago I saw an allergist who said it is common with allergies, but he's long retired.

My son said that his allergies are acting up and feels similar. He said he feels like he has a mouthful of pennies. Odd, but it sounds right. Hmmm I wonder how he knows what a mouthful of pennies is like. lol

Then I heard that your teeth or something reacting with an old filling may be a possible source. Maybe one of these bad teeth (2 molars) are the cause. They have never hurt and the Dentist says that eventually they will need to be dealt with. The reason I am saying eventually is because the only thing I am afraid of in the world is the Dentist! LOL

Any ideas?? I'd love to hear from anyone who has any information!

Jack
