OK, I am just plain embarrassed. Type II, eat sugar free, no meds, but I am very lazy. Anyone feel the
same? (With a candy bar, I could zip around like
wildfire-with energy to clean, etc. but those days are over.) http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/redface.gif

One thing that might help is to take a good multivitamin daily if you don't already take one. Also if you are eating the proper snacks between meals to control your blood sugar this should certainly help boost your energy. Exercise is another good way to boost your energy levels. One other thing to consider is to check your blood sugar levels at the time you are feeling the least energetic. Perhaps you levels are low at that time of the day and just need a little boost.

Thanks for replying. My sugar is usually around 88
when I feel zapped, which means BS is on it's way
down, and snack time. As for exercise, I have always
had mixed feelings about exercise my whole life.

Some times it makes me feel good, and sometimes it
makes me feel worse! (I never know what I am going to get.) When I'm done, I feel tired, hungry, and energy for getting my work done has just been spent. (Sometimes, I think there's a
pre-diabetic element present at birth!). Nobody in my family really has ever liked exercise, (even all the skinny ones!). We just don't see what folks
get out of it, except the toning and weight control.
I will try the vitamins. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif
