I was just wanting to know what everyone’s favorite facial mask is and why? My favorite one is by Palmer’s called “Skin Success Even Tone Brightening Facial Mask”. I found it at Wal-Mart and it has Vitamins C & E, plus Licorice Extract. I have oily skin as well as some acne and I have found this to make my face feel SOO clean and never drying, it also helps fade my scars faster. I leave it on for 1 hour about 3 times a week, but lately I have been using it as a hot spot overnight treatment. One day I took a trip and drove 12 hours and got the biggest pimple in the middle of my forehead :eek:, that night I used the mask because my face felt so oily, the only thing is though that I laid my head back and accidentally slept the who night with the mask on my face, and when I woke up all that was left of the pimple was a red mark (the swelling dramatically decreased). I have heard a lot of people say good things about Queen Helen Mint Julep Mask... but I have tried that and by far it has nothing on this one!

I have a lot of problems with facial masks irritating my skin. So I have been using a mask that my hairdresser told me about a few months ago. It is a mashed up banana mask. You add a little honey to it and put it on your face. So far I have had no irritation and I think my skin really likes it. I have also heard of milk of magnesia/pepto bismol (but i haven't tried either of these yet) masks also. Straight from the bottle, apply it to your face and then just wait for it to harden a little.

I like Queen Helene Mint Julep... but Avon Pore Refining mask is awesome, too. I don't even know if they make this stuff anymore... I found a bottle at my mom's and stole it (don't tell : ) ) because it really does help minimize pores and reduce acne.

Avon's pore refining mask is great... It is what I used to use before I started using Palmer's Skin Brightening Mask. I think Palmer's it is better, but Avon's is great too!

OMG St. Ives Peel-Off Hydroxy Masque!!!!!!!! I've been using it for over a year now and I love it. It helps with my pimples too because my skin has a problem shedding dead skin cells. It also helped a LOAD with my acne scars.

I like the Queen Helene Mint Julepe mask too and I also like the aspirin mask also. It really helps with large pores. I have tried a few masks with mashed bananas and other ingredients that I can't think of right now and they always felt really nice. I wonder if anybody knows of any other recipes for homemade facial masks? The Palmer's face mask sounds great. Where did you get it??

That is a great mask, I have it as well, but I prefer one that absorbs more oil. I usually use it instead of Palmer's skin brightening one if my face is a little dry and it does help allot!

Ive used the mint julepe mask, and theres a couple more masks that queen helene makes, theres an egg yolk mask...grape seed peel off...mud pack mask...and vitamin c & honey fee off masks, anyone tried them?

I love mud mask Mineral from the dead sea the best mask i ever used!!!!! it helps my oily skin and acne. I also like Hydra Drops Intensive moistutizing mask by Lumene it has pure spring water and oat milk, if my skin is too dry i leave it overnight and i the morning i have refreshed and smooth skin!!!!! U can find this mask in CVS

I like Queen Helene Mint Julep but I have to be careful not to leave it on my face too long b/c I break out in literally a hundred little pimples.
I like an Aveda clay one I bought a while ago.

I tried the grapeseed peel off mask. I actually threw it away. It comes out like those sticky things you get out of the quarter machines at grocery stores that you can throw around and they stick on things. It was so hard to smear it on my face.
