I've noticed that I've been gaining a bit of weight, yet all of it seems to go to my thighs and lovehandles, is there any certain excersizes I can do to help shape and slim down these areas? I do like to walk, would that help any?

Unfortunately, you cannot control where fat is gained or lost. The best you can do is concentrate on eating a healthy diet and performing regular exercise. Walking is a good start if you haven't been exercising, but you should aim to eventually progress up to more demanding exercises like jogging, biking, or swimming. Also add weight training to help elevate your overall metabolism.
