Someone please help me.
Do we get HSV 1 or 2 through shake hand(by hand-to-hand touch) if other person has active blisters/ cluster?
What is the possibility to get the HSV through shaking hand?
What are the first symptoms for HSV?
Appreciate your help.
Thanks.

No you don't get the herpes virus by shaking hands. If you could everyone on the planet would have this virus. Herpes doesn't shed through the hands. Even if you touched your sores during an outbreak and shook someone's hand, the chance of them getting infected is about zero. The skin of the hand is too thick for the virus to pass through. However, having an open cut does provide a means for the virus to gain access.
Most of the time there are no symptoms with herpes, or they're misdiagnosed, this is why most people are unaware they have the virus. They may think they're 'clean', but without a bloodtest, they're only guessing.

Hi over21,
Thanks for you quick response. I have one more question.
After touching blisters/ cluster/sores during an outbreak with hand, How long can the Virus stay alive on the hand skin?
Thanks.

I don't know. Keep in mind, plain old soap and water will kill the virus.
