I need to buy a blood sugar monitor. There are so many choices that its confusing. I always think the best way to find one is to ask other users how they feel about their monitors. So which ones are the best or worse. Which ones would you recommend.

1. The monitors are only accurate to around 10%, which is a big range.

2. I like the Bayer Dex, its easy to use, and seems to be fairly accurate judging by the blood tests I get done at the doctors office. I always take my blood sugar just before I go for a morning blood test.

I use the One Touch Ultra by Lifescan and I like it...it doesn't require too much blood.
