Last April I started Weight Watches and by July I had lost 30lbs. And I was stuck at 30lbs.So I went off the program for awhile and in January tried Phentermine; Nutrisystem in March . And still stayed at that 30lb loss. Now I am grateful that I haven't gained-that's a relief. But I am so tired of seeing the same numbers on the scale I could scream. I started up Weight Watchers again 2 weeks ago...and am STILL that same weight! Do you think it's possible that you can just stay at a certain weight no matter what you do? I have about 50lbs more to lose and at this point if I could lose another 20lbs, I'd be happy. It's just maddening that those 30lbs came off in what seemed like no time and now I am stuck

Its the dreaded plataue.......don't think I spelled that right. You might have to step up on the physical activity. Good job on keeping the weight off through the winter. That in itself is a great accomplishment.

Thanks! Oh believe me, the fact that I maintained the month of December alone amazes me...my birthday, plus Xmas, plus work parties, friend's parties, etc. The only difference between now and a year ago is that I have an office job-whereas I was waiting tables before so that probably helped a lot. I'll have to hit the gym harder I guess...

This plateau HAS to end eventually...

You could try a Meat and Egg fast for 3 days to kickstart your fat loss again. Eat only meat and eggs and a salad with lunch and dinner with dressing that is 0 to low carb..Lisa

It will most likely start coming off again...but most likely much slower then it did before. It is even possible that it wont come off. If you are not able to Cut some more calories or burn some more then you just might stay at this weight! Regardless of what happens you need to make sure you keep up with what you are doing. if you give up and start eating more and/or exercising less then you will just start to gain the weight back.
