How do you get your basic housework done while coping
with fatigue? I have to eat every 3 hours. I start
cleaning projects, but run out of gas. To me the
only answer seems--hired help. DH seems to spend it
all, or college daughter needs anything we have left
over each week. Help! (Getting family support is a whole other topic!) http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

I feel the same way when I clean or sometimes at work too. I was cleaning yesterday, really getting into it, and my mother-in-law was helping. Then all of a sudden my initiative went from 100% to 0, I started getting the shakes and I was getting irritable. Unfortunately, we were cleaning out the fridge/freezer and pantry. I had to eat some candy since it was the only thing readily available. It helped, but wasn't enough to make me feel better. My mom-in-law finished up for me and we scavenged some meat from the casserole in the oven and a little piece of bread. I felt better later, but very tired. I hate that. I think I should have ate a really good breakfast before I started. I kind of skimped on breakfast because I knew I was going to eat an early lunch. Didn't see the time flying by. Do you eat well before you begin your housework? I think its probably very important. Take a break, and have a snack. The housework can wait.
