I am new to this board and am very worried. A little about me.

I am diabetic and have high blood pressure. Recently at my last doctors appointment they informed me that I have high platelet count, high white blood cell count and anemia. Not sure of the numbers because I was in shock. She now has referred me to a hematologist and the appointment is on tuesday but I have been a nervous wreck. My doctor told me it just might be an infection just to make me feel better. Not working!

It kills you just to know that there is something wrong with you and have no clue what it is. Anyone with info on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
