What do you think about them? Ice cream is the one thing I find hard to be without, so I have those on hand. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif Some of these have sugar alcohols as a listed inngredient, also.

Well, even if something is labeled as sugar free you still have to take the carbs into account. But if it's a choice between eating a sugar free ice cream bar or sitting down with a gallon of Ben & Jerry's then go with the sugar free bar. Check your glucose level afterwards and see how your blood sugar is doing, and try not to eat too many of them in any event. If your sugar is high afterwards but you can't seem to give them up then you should cut back on your carb intake somewhere else that day. I have a sweet tooth as well and I rely on these sugar free things to help me through my cravings sometimes.

I don't know if you like chocolate, but they also make sugar free bittersweet chocolate bars. They are really high in fat, but boy- if you need a chocolate fix THEY ARE GOOD!

Where do you find bittersweet chocolate bars? Not
sure exactly what you mean. The only sugar free chocolate I have been able to find, that tastes decent is from Fannie May. They are expensive! Plus I feel
that sometimes they throw my PMS off a little! (Their chocolate contains malitol). My chocolate cravings
are at their worst in Jan, Feb, March! (Thanks ahead
of time! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif )
