I was just wondering what a normal blood sugar range is for a 9 year old... 5 foot tall... 96 lbs... Grandfather and Aunt have Diabetes... GF is Type 2... Aunt Type 1... She eats like a horse and doesn't gain weight... My mom was commenting how much she eats... She just never seems to get full... Today we went to have pizza for lunch... (Buffet) She (my daughter) ate 16 pieces of pizza... I'm not kidding... And she wanted more... We cut her off right away and told her she was going to make herself sick... Then about 2 hours later she was hungry again... She drinks and drinks all day... But, doesn't crave water... (Iced Tea, Kool-aid, Soda... Anything really sugary... Now that I have typed way to much... LOL... Any replys would be helpful... Thanks...

Normal blood sugar range is from 65-70 to 105-110. You need to get your daughter checked to be sure she doesn't have diabetes or some other problem causing her increased appitite and thirst. Call your doc and make an appointment today.
