How do you know what type of glucosamine to buy? I see there are several different types....Glucosamine sulfate, N-acetyl glucosamine, Glucosamine hydrochloride (HCL), Glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate combination.

Which is the best form i don't know the true answer as i never used/needed this product. However i do know of which one is the worst and that is N-Acetyl Glucosamine and the reason is that it is very poorly absorbed in the intestines so you''ll be getting very little of it to your Cartilage......

You want glucosamine sulfate, and chondroitin sulfate. Wonderful supplements!

theres no difference in absobability between glucosamine sulphate and glucosamine hydrochloride. the only difference is that the former is derived from shell fish and the latter is derived from a fungus and so is suitable for vegies and those with a shell fish allergy.
