Does anyone out there have rosacia or any information on how to help it? I have heard such a range of nutritional and medical solutions to help..

I took antibiotics when I was first diagnosed - because it was verging on stage 3. Since then however, or since my face went back to looking normal, I have been avoiding cheese, because every time I ate cheese, the redness and swelling (along with itching on my face- horrible!) would increase within an hour or two. And linger for days or weeks. Now I tell people that I am allergic to cheese, because I don't want to even tempt it.

I have this too...i think! There is way too much infomation out there.
My dr told me to cut out alcohol, chesse, vanillia, bananas and some other things that cause blood vessels to dilate. But there are also the foods containing histamines, like chocolate and tomotoes and the foods high in Niacine (B3) which also causes flushing.
Personally the Niacin ones and histamine ones are not a problem for me. I would keep a food diary and see if there is a food trigger for you or not.I am now on antibotics and am hoping that helps.
