Hi All
I am new and have only registered today. I have just come out of hospital and was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. I am on daily injections and warfarin tablets and my IRN level is taking a long time to reach what they want it to be. I am at 1.6 now and they would like me to get to 3.0.
I am very worried as when I was in hospital the doctor told me I had a large pulmonary embolism and it was very serious. However after reading my discharge letter it seem that I am much sicker than they have told me. It reads as though I have multiple embolisms. Trying to get real answers is like finding that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow!
I could type out what was said in the "findings" section of my letter but would rather know if there is anyone on here that would actually understand the medical jargon.
So that is what I am looking for....someone that is knowledgeable in this area.
Thanks in advance.
Sue
