DS is almost 6 months, and he started giving me kisses yesterday!!! At first I thought he was trying to chew on me since he is cutting teeth, but its kisses! Yesterday I was holding DS sitting in my lap facing out. He turned his head around with his mouth opened and placed one on me. I thought it was a fluke, but then he started gently grabbing my face and kissing me, over, and over again. He's been sticking his hands out when he wants me to hold him too.

Oh the joys of motherhood are really kicking in. It is so amazing when he shows he loves me.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.............thats so sweet roxy!! i cant wait until DD starts showing such affection, although she is only 4 weeks old, so i still have a while! you're so lucky!!

My DS does this. He has since he was about six months old also. He's now 13 months and he still gives me kisses! In fact the other day I picked him up from his nap and he was so excited he gave me five kisses right away. It's these sweet moments that really make being a mom worth it!

LOL my son does this too! Its the greatest thing I swear! little wet on your cheek, but its worth it! :wave:

Baby kisses are the greatest (even if they are a little wet :) ) The sweetest is when DD toddles up to DS and kisses him and laughs. Thanks for posting the story Roxy...it gave me a big smile inside!

That's so cute, DS is 9mo and still not doning it. Occasionally he tries to give me a french kiss, lol, but mostly it's just a great desire to bite my jaw. I'm still waiting for that first kiss.

I had no clue they did that at 6 months either. Of course my first reaction was, he is so advanced, lol.
Kiedy-The kisses are usually open mouth. He never closes it, just grabs my face and places his open mouth on my cheek or lips. I'm getting warm inside just talking about it.
He is my first child, so I am shocked at every new thing he learns. I just can't believe how many things babies can do by 6 months. Its nice to get some love back too. ISn't motherhood wonderful?
