What is the stuff that they put on your pedicure at the salon that makes it so shiney? I use OPI top coat and it never gives me the shine that the salon does.

Sponsor tUrRrRa 05-03-2006, 09:55 PM Different top coats work differently depending on the color you use. Try to find a color that has a lot of shine and gloss by iteslf also. Shimmery ones or glitter ones tend to not have that wet-look shine. Also, there is a Sally Hansen hand cream that makes my hands really moisturized and makes even my natural nails with no polish really shiny. It's called Radiant Hands & Cuticles Creme (orange tube). It can probably work for feet too. Also you can try a nail/cuticle oil.. that will give you shine also. One last thing is to make sure your nails are buffed.. which will smooth them out, thus making them shine more. marshmello 05-04-2006, 03:16 PM I actually have a few winners in this category. - Double Twist Topcoat(By Revlon) - Mega Shine (By Sally Hansen) - Insta Dri Topcoat for French Manicures (By Sally Hansen) They're all pretty good but Insta Dri is my favorite because it dries your nails so fast and has a really glossy shine that lasts for weeks. Although it says "for French Manicures", it can be used with all shades of nail polish. It's a must have product for me! janetinwestchas 05-05-2006, 03:19 AM I have used Sally Hansen's Super Shine Shiny Top Coat for years and absolutely love it. Nothing comes close to giving me a shine like this one! daldridge 05-09-2006, 01:22 AM Check when they are doing your pedicure and ask would be my advice if you like what they use. Be sure you use base and top coat. angelik_pistol 05-09-2006, 02:27 AM we used orly at the salon i was working at and i really liked that brand, the polishes didnt clump as soon as opi. oh yah and use a base coat as well. |
