I really REALLY don't know if this belongs in this section of the forum, and I'm sorry if it doesn't, but I'm having some eating problems. I binge eat, I constantly wolf down anything I see, and I get intense cravings for sugar at least 3-5 times a day in which I will just devour any chocolate/cake/cookies I see. Sometimes I crave something salty, but mostly I'm just always eating, and I've noticed I'm starting to get bigger, anyone know why? Mom says I have worms, but I don't think so?

well ... could be a lot of things really. first of all, how old are you? if you're young, there may be some chance you could be diabetic, hence the sugar cravings. so if you think that could be a possibility, go to your doc to get checked out.
otherwise, how to you feel about food, weight, your body in general? do you use food for things other than nourishment/light enjoyment (ie: do you tend to binge when you're sad, anxious, etc.)? how do you feel about your eating in general? do you "watch what you eat" other than the binges? in other words, if you feel that there are emotional things tied into your binging, then yes, you may have an eating disorder or a form of disordered eating. again, i'd recommend talking to your doctor to find out about getting a therapist if you think this is the case.
one more quick thing (but don't take my word on this one, cuz i'm not 100% sure if i'm right ... might be good to get some second opinions). i think (again, i don't know) that not eating enough protein can cause the body to crave sugar. again, i might be totally wrong on this, but if you aren't eating a lot of protein, maybe try eating a little more. also, not eating enough (ie: if you're starving yourself between binges to "make up for it") can DEFINITELY cause you to crave sugar because it makes your blood sugar drop. anyway, just some things to think about and i hope it helps a little.

I don't particularly eat because I'm emotional, just because I get these spontaneous cravings, and I eat alot of meat, protein right?

i think you're probably okay, but you could go to your doctor to get checked out if you're worried. what are your binges like (what foods, how much, how fast you eat)? maybe you just think they're worse than they are. if you list a typical day of eating (including binges), then maybe i'd have a little better advice.
