HELLO I AM SANDY RUTH, AND I JUST ADDED THIS DIABETES MESSAGE BOARD TO MY DIABETES WEBSITE. I AM A TYPE TWO DIABETIC. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS TAKING ALL MEDICATIONS,USED FOR THIS.THE MEDICINES HURT ME WORSE THEN THE DISEASE.I AM NOT ON INSULIN..MY DOCTOR JUST TOLD ME TO LOOSE 40 LBS. TO TRY AND CONTROL MY BS.I REALLY AM TRYING,HAVING A LOT OF PAIN,HAVE HAD STREP THROAT AND OTHER INFECTIONS.JUST TOOK ANTIBIOTICS,THEN HAD SIDE EFFECTS FROM THEM..MY ONLY HOPE IS TO LOOSE WEIGHT.I'LL NEVER GIVE UP TIL I DO..PLEASE PRAY FOR ME..GET IN TOUCH WITH ME,IF YOU WANT. hello. i have a friend who is a 50 year old woman with type two diabetes and high blood pressure... her medication too makes her sick (glucophage).. along with that her doctor prescibed a blood presure medication that is not supposed to be taken with glucophage. (in fact my uncles father died because of taking the two) anyways so i told her about the combination of the drugs one day when she was telling me how she thinks her medicine makes her sick. soon after she stopped taking her glucophage and soon after began taking an herb..gymnema sylvestre .. with watching her sugar intake she has been able to control her diabetes without any problems.. i will also put ya on our prayer list.
