He has been working in the same job for 3yrs he is a sales representative at a department store, and they don't allow him to sit until of course his lunch hour. Everytime he comes home his feet are killing him, I understand what he means because my feet hurt when I started my job where I also had to stand but I got used to it and the pain went away, but his has been constant if not that more than usual. He buys those geling things for his shoes and goes out of his way to buy confortable shoes but still they hurt. Has anyone had this problem? And how did you resolve it?

Well, we really need more information. Where exactly do they hurt and what kind of pain is it? Are they just sore all over? In the arch, toes? Do they hurt/cramp when he wakes up in the morning?

Actually they only hurt when he comes home from work. When he has had a long day at work and he's been up and down all day. To be honest with you I don't know what the parts that hurt him are called, but he says they hurt him like they throb he feels a heart beat in them when he takes off his shoes. He also says that it's not the arch of his feet, the arch never hurts it's the heel and the section in the bottom of his toes. Thank you for your response.

need to be more specific. If its pain in the heel, and hurts with the first few steps in the morning, but subsides after several steps, he could be a candidate for plantar fasciitis.
He will need an xray and a visit to a podiatrist.
You didnt say how long he has pain in his foot.
