I have pretty much dried up, and my baby is only 10 months old. He will NOT drink formula. HELP!! What in the world do I do?

Obviously consult a Dr, but here is what I did. I had the same problem. First off, I put a scoop of formula per ounce of food she was eating into her food. I mixed it up in a bowl and fed it to her.

I first got her to take water from a sippy cup, then bottle. Then I gave her cold whole cow's milk. Which she loved (but gave her horrid diaper rash). I FINALLY got her to drink formula when it was served cold. She still won't drink it warm, but I guess I'll just get over it. I think she likes the way the cold stuff feels on her gums, I don't know.

Check w/your Dr., as the other poster said, but 10 months should be fine to give whole milk if she won't take formula. I agree with serving formula/milk cold at this age as well, they seem to like it better.

I bet the doc would give you the go ahead to start whole milk.
