hi,
I had my top tooth (#13?) pulled last Thursday, i did the normal gauze for few hrs and the bleeding stopped. The following Tuesday night it starts bleeding again, i use up the rest of the gauze overnight then the bleeding stopped again, next morning (wed.) Some sort of blood clot comes out then the bleeding stopped. Now tonight its bleeding again, im using a teabag for now and seems like it slowed down. Is this normal? when will it stop?

I just had two bottom wisdom teeth extracted. For me, 9 days later the site still bleeds at the gums if I walk too much, move wrong or make a suction in my mouth during my sleep. However, no blood clot ever fell out for me. I was told if the bloodclot came out that _may_ be a trigger for dry socket.

I am not a doctor!! Hopefully the knowlege that your mouth will bleed normally for a while will help you until someone can tell you if you need medical attention due to the clot thing.

All my extractions healed within 20 mins. Try not to irritate it-don't brush it for awhile, don't suck.. etc..
